Preserving the Past for the Future

The Heritage Seekers was formed in 1971 by a group of concerned citizens.  Their intention was to preserve and honor the history and its makers in the Palmyra, Missouri area.  Their first project was the purchase and restoration of the Gardner House, which today serves as a museum of Palmyra area history and tourist information center.
